The Gateway

Taken during my first visit to the USA. This was the moment Yosemite truly hit me. As we drove through the tunnel and reached this lookout, the valley just opened up in front of me, the massive granite walls, endless forest, and that iconic view with El Capitan. It’s hard to put into words how grand it feels. You don’t just see it and you feel it. I stood there for a while, just taking it all in before reaching for the camera.
