Taken during my trip to the Eden town in NSW. I went here with a group of friends. We hiked up to the lookout. But when we reached the top, the view completely stopped us in our tracks. The colours, the textures, the feeling of standing above a landscape shaped over millions of years, it was humbling. This is the raw, wild beauty of Australia, and I wanted to capture that. A glimpse into Australia’s million years geological past. Flowing streams carried sand and gravel across these lands, slowly shaping what we see today. The red colour comes from iron in the rock, weathered over time through warm, wet seasons and dry spells.
